I began meditating regularly mid June 2019.  I was introduced to RocketCalm a couple months previously, which happened at a time when I had reconnected with an old friend who also expressed an interest in meditating.  He was interested in trying a 30 Day Meditation challenge.  He is a challenge guy and regularly tests himself by embarking on another 30 day routine, and it works great for him.  I am not a challenge guy and rarely challenge myself to 30 days of anything; however, I like to support my friends and agreed to try to meditate daily in the spirit of the challenge.

I can really see the value in the challenge approach to any healthy lifestyle change, and pursuing regular meditation is no exception.  My friend and I texted daily when we finished our meditation, and often added how long we meditated.  If I was industrious I could look through those text and deduce that length of time for each mediation, but I think I’ll keep my records intact and report here what I reported there, which is just that I did meditate.

June 17  I met my friend this Monday afternoon for a group meditation through a local organization called The Innerwork Center.  The session was 30 minutes long.
