jamaA research project reported by JAMA shows that feelings of depression are substantially reduced after mindfulness and meditative practices are applied. The study under Dr. Filip Raes in Belgium applied techniques in a classroom setting. The resulting reduction in depression, anxiety, and stress were still reduced after 6 months.
